Como Zoo and Good Friends

We made a trip up to Como Zoo last week with some good friends.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.  Phoebe's friend, Alex, decided that he needed to hold her hand for most of the day, and while at first, she wasn't so sure about it, by the end of the afternoon, she was willingly taking Alex's hand and they even got in a few hugs.  I don't imagine that they'll grow up, fall in love, and get married, but if they do...won't these be amazing photos for their wedding slideshow!

Cassity

Finn is fast on his feet!  Thankfully, we got him to hold still for a few photos.  There was a backhoe (I think that's what it was...I'm not up on my machinery!) near where we were shooting and he wanted to play on it.  So, negotiations ensued to keep my little model in front of my camera, while also allowing some play time on the equipment.  We didn't look closely to see that there was grease all over it, so poor Mom ended up covered in greasy Finn sized fingerprints.  He had a good time, though...and hopefully Mom was able to get those grease stains out afterward.

Esme

Beautiful little Esme is three months old.  This was my first time meeting her.  I sold her parents, Eric and Shannon, a home about two years ago, and now they're filling it up with baby stuff for this little angel.  She was pretty cooperative, I have to say, for her first modeling gig.  She took a little cat nap part way through, but that only helped us get some awfully cute photos of her and her parents napping, so it was all good!
